Alasdair is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over twenty years’ experience providing cost management advice across a wide range of projects and programmes in the UK, Hong Kong, Macao and the Middle East. His experience spans residential, hospitality, retail, commercial, high-rise, mixed-use and major leisure developments.
He began his career in Scotland as an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor while studying part-time at Glasgow Caledonian University, graduating with an Honours degree in Quantity Surveying in 2009. He became a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2015.
Over the course of his career, Alasdair has worked with major clients, consultants and design teams across complex, high-value developments. His experience includes cost management from feasibility stage onwards, procurement advice, tendering, post-contract cost control, commercial reporting and claims support. He has also held senior leadership roles, with responsibility for team management, client liaison, resourcing, bidding, business development and project delivery.
