Ally began his career in Quantity Surveying in 2005 as a part-time student at Glasgow Caledonian University while working in private practice. He graduated with an Honours degree in Quantity Surveying in 2009 and achieved chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2011.
With a career rooted in private practice, Ally has developed extensive experience across a broad range of sectors, with a particular focus on educational projects spanning primary, secondary, and further education. His portfolio also includes work in healthcare, office, retail, and leisure sectors.
Ally is well-versed in a variety of procurement routes and contract types, from traditional minor works to large-scale national frameworks delivered through design and build. He has successfully collaborated with a diverse client base, including Local Authorities and Private Developers, consistently delivering value and quality across all project stages.
