Associate Director

David began his career in Quantity Surveying as a Trainee while studying part-time at Glasgow Caledonian University, graduating with an Honours degree in 2014. He went on to become an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2021.

David has built his career in both private practice and freelance consultancy, with extensive experience across a wide range of sectors including high-end residential, education, healthcare, commercial, and transport. He is well-versed in all aspects of cost management throughout the RIBA Plan of Work, from early-stage feasibility and procurement advice through to post-contract cost control and handover. He has also undertaken roles as Contract Administrator and Project Manager.

In addition to project delivery, David has played an active role in business development, preparing fee proposals, responding to RFPs, and producing capability statements that have contributed to securing new commissions.
