Key Project Details

NBM were appointed as Project Manager by the Rugby Football Union to oversee the transformation of the existing hotel at Allianz Stadium into Radisson RED London Twickenham.

The project involved:

  • Comprehensive refurbishment of 150 guest bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms
  • Reconfiguration and upgrade of reception and arrival areas
  • Full refurbishment of restaurant and bar facilities
  • Enhancement of mezzanine-level function and event spaces
  • Phased delivery within a live, fully operational hotel environment

Delivered over an 18-month programme, including 8 months pre-contract and 10 months on site, the works were carefully sequenced to maintain guest experience and operational continuity throughout.

Solutions & Approach

NBM provided full Project Management services from pre-contract through to completion. A detailed phasing and logistics strategy was developed to minimise disruption to hotel guests while maintaining programme momentum. Close collaboration with the RFU, hotel operations team and Radisson RED brand representatives ensured design intent and brand compliance were achieved. Regular stakeholder meetings, proactive risk management and robust programme monitoring were key to successful delivery.
